Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and [legal entity name](“Rallyo”, “we”) when you use the Rallyo website. By signing in you accept them. If you do not, do not use the service.

What Rallyo is

Rallyo is a noticeboard. Shops near you post stock they would otherwise throw away, and you see it sorted by distance. That is all it does.

We are not a shop, and we are not part of any sale. We take no payment, hold no stock, arrange no delivery and give no guarantee about any item listed. When you buy something you saw here, that transaction is between you and the shop, in the shop, under whatever consumer rights apply to it. Prices, availability, quality, freshness and safety are the shop’s responsibility.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over and able to enter a contract. One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your phone number

Rallyo asks for your mobile number once, at sign-in, and then locks it. It cannot be edited afterwards — not by you, and not by us. Enter it carefully. This is deliberate: it is what keeps one person from running a dozen accounts, and it is why a shop can trust a pickup.

Rules for everyone

• Do not post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexual.
• Do not impersonate a person or a business you do not own.
• Do not scrape the service, hammer our systems, or try to reach data that is not yours.
• Do not use Rallyo to spam neighbours or to advertise something that is not a real deal.

We can remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. Where it is our call to make and the situation allows it, we will say why.

If you are a shop

• List only stock you actually have, at the price you will actually honour, from a business you actually operate at the address you give.
• You are responsible for your own legal compliance — licences, food safety, weights and measures, GST, labelling, and the accuracy of any discount you advertise.
• Your listing, your photos and your posts are public. You keep ownership of them, and you give us permission to display them in the app and to show them in the feed.
• A verified tick means we have a subscription on file for your business. It is not an endorsement, an inspection, or a guarantee of anything you sell.

Paid features

Rallyo is currently free for shops. We intend to introduce a paid business subscription. If and when we do, we will publish the price and the terms before charging anyone, and no existing account will be charged without agreeing first.

Your content

What you write and photograph stays yours. By posting it you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display it inside Rallyo for as long as you keep it up. Delete it and that licence ends, apart from copies in routine backups that age out.

Availability

We provide Rallyo as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the deals you see will still be there when you arrive. We may change or discontinue features.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from a transaction with a shop, from a listing being wrong or out of date, or from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
